Best $10 I have ever spent

I recieved my box of Sancho Panza DM Escuedo's today. Now I know I am supposed to let them settle a bit after shipping, but I broke the "rule" and couldnt wait to fire one up.

Pre-light impressions-Well constructed nice aroma
My cut was a bit rough(I was rushing to fire up before the Sharks game started) and the cap came loose a bit. No problem, I thought its a $3 smoke.

First draws were very flavorful, some say cocoa and chocolate, I just taste smooth smoke. Cap never became an issue throughout the 110 minute smoke!!!

Burn was near perfection. No dropped ash at all. Now I am a nubster(I like to smoke to the very nub), no bite even as I nearly burnt my fingers. Its not often where my ash is longer than the nub, but in this case I had to drop ash to put the damn thing out.

DO NOT SMOKE THIS CIGAR UNLESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF TIME! I didnt put the smoke out until there were only 2minutes left in the game! Unbelievable! No touch ups, no wrapper problems, a near perfect smoke.

Now I can see why you all speak so highly of SP cigars. I'm glad I misordered and have another box coming next week!

Now you may be asking how a $3 smoke becomes a $10 best buy?

On my way home from work, I stopped at TJ's(Trader Joe's) for you poor folks who dont have this great store nearby. I was looking for a bottle of wine(What else when you live in the Napa Valley?) Instead, I found a port called MORGANDO for $5.99! I figured I couldnt go wrong even for a bad port $6 is crazy cheap.

But this was not a "cheap" port at all, non-vintage so a blend of several years. Perfectly smooth, nutty and creamy, the perfect complement to the wonderful smoke. If only the port had lasted as long as the cigar! I poured a second glass and still had more than half a smoke
left.

Sharks win. A new goto smoke and a very nice bottle of port for less than the cost of a single "premium" smoke. A very good evening indeed!
