Torano Casa Maduros Review

I was at the shop this morning when the UPS driver showed up. The shipment of Casa Maddies had finally arrived. I've whined to the owner so much, he cracked open a box of Toro's for me to get one. I smoked it right away. The wrapper was dripping with oil. This was one beautiful stick. Right off the truck, it seemed a little wet with a tight pre-light draw. The first half inch was a little bitter but cleared up and turned into a very nice, earthy mild to medium smoke. It tightened up about half way but a purge cleared it up and it smoked fine. The burn was a little crooked but I attribute that to the fact that it was literally 15 minutes off the delivery truck. I bought a fist full and they are now resting in my humidor.

I'm convinced that with a week or so of rest, this is going to be another home run for Toraño.

The casa Torano was a favorite of mine when I started smoking cigars, mild but flavorable.... I'd still give a maddie a try. I pass out the casa torano to ocassional cigar smokers who arent up to smoking an Opus yet.

I have been waiting a few months for the Casa Torano maddies to get to my B&M... Cant wait much longer to give one a try. Should be an awesome cigar...
