Griffins Fuerte Robusto Review

I gotta say I went into this one figuring it would be lousy. I'd read some reviews and the thing about it was some people commented that the double ligero was just a gimmick.

I lit it and right off the bat there was a pervasive tangy, sun grown tang if you will. Sun grown but not in an overpowering way. Sun grown in a nice tangy way. It exhibited a little spice as well. The flavor profile would come and go as it burned down. I was worried this would be a butt kicker, nicotine-wise but that never played out thankfully. Simulating sea sickness is not for me. If I want something along those lines I just ask someone to kick me in the package. Same effect.

Anyway it was a decent enough smoke, burned flawlessly and had enough character in a sun grown tangy kind of way to make me consider going to it again

Re: Griffins Fuerte Robusto

Thanks for reviewing this one, I have seen them and thought about trying it, but without an opinion on it, didn't know. Now I will.

Everytime I ask the guys at my store how a particular cigar is, they always go: "oh yeah, that's a good, quality cigar, mildly strong, smooth bold finish, burns well", or some other generic nonsense.
