Ashton San Cristobal Maestro Review

This cigar came at a good price from Monetrey (Mike). I let it rest along with it's brothers for about 3 weeks. I finally sacrificed one and boy was I glad I did.

This was a little bigger smoke than i normally go for, but it was well worth it. The smell was incredible. The initial draw was a bit tight, but I attributed that to the small opening of the perfecto foot.

After getting this stick rolling I was hit with lots of flavor, namely a coffee like taste. The coffee flavor seemed to last throughout the length of the stick occasionally being overtaken by a chocolate-like taste.

I didn't really get any harshness from this stick and was very impressed by it. The only problem I had was with the draw becoming occasionally to tight but I was able to remedy that with my Xikar.

You should definitely try out the San Cristobal line!

I agree these cigars are some of the best I have tried so far.

Re: Ashton San Cristobal Maestro

That is a nice looking stick. I have had the robusto and enjoyed it. I must try one of these.

Re: Ashton San Cristobal Maestro

I need to pick some up. Been thinking about it for some time now but the B&M around here don't have any. Going to Pasadena next week and should be able to find some.
