Henry Clay Rothchilde Review

I got this one in an Auction Sampler I won.I never really gave much thought to Plain old Henry Clay but I figured since it was in my Humi I'd give it a try. The Cigar retails for about $3.00 and is made by Altadis using all Dominican leaf. It was nicely constructed and had a Dark slightly oily Conn. Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. It cut nicely with my Trusty Xikar 2 Cutter. I lit it up and started smoking away. The Burn was nice and Even and it produced plenty of Smoke with a nice Whitish Gray Ash. Draw was near perfect. The taste Was Full-bodied yet smooth with a Strong Coffee spicy Flavor ending With Chocolate Notes. I smoked this one down to the end and enjoyed all 40 Minutes of it. If I had to knock it it would be on the Constuction but in No way did it mess with this Great Smoke. If your into ERDM robustos give this one a try.
