Carlos Torano Review

This is my new Favorite right here! When I was on Ky for the derby I had the chance to smoke many new cigars thanks to my pops. We went to his local cigar shop and I got 4 of these. Awesome! Wrapped in spanish ceadar and about 4-5$ a piece. They smell very smooth before the light and also has a very thick creamy smoke. I love these cigars! Smooth the whole way down and not to strong that they cant be inhaled a little bit to get the full effect. I would reccomend these to anyone if they have not been tried yet.

Sounds like you got a 1916, right? Those are very good smokes and one of my favorite cameroons. The Exodus are both good too, but I find the Casa Toraño a little too mild.

My sentiments exactly! Although at first taste the casa was good, then quickly faded to nothingness. All other Toranos, top notch, in my book! But still curious. Which Torano was it 688?

Excellent cigar shop. I was hoping this was the store where you made your purchases. My office is just around the corner from this shop so it is very convenient to drop in frequently. I hope you enjoyed your visit to Louisville!!

Re: Carlos Torano

Torano has quickly become one of my favorites, too. I simply love the 1916 Cameroon robustos and the 1959 Gold Torpedos. They are both very hard to beat for the price.

You should also try the 2003 tributes. I believe they have a flavor similar to the Brazillias by CAO......and for those that weren't aware; Torano actually makes the Brazillia for CAO. However, I find the Tributes to be a bit more smooth/mellow than the Brazillia. They're delicious, even at the slightly higher cost!

Re: Carlos Torano

You can't beat Torano for the consistent value and quality.
