San Cristobal Guajiro Review
This is my first review, so bear with me.
I bought this cigar from a local B&M that I found a few days ago. From the minute that I saw it I could not wait to sacrifice this one. Well tonight I got my chance. ![]() My smoking buddies: ![]() The wrapper was thin but had a leather like strength and smell to it. After toasting and lighting I experienced a very slight run in the wrapper that eventually began to even out. The flavours began with strong leather, a hint of nutmeg, and an even fainter, well... cherry jello taste. ![]() About a third into the ash held strong. Chocolate and leather overtones with a very slight caramel aftertaste came into play around this time. From here on the stick burned like a champ. ![]() About two thirds in all of the undertones seem to fade away. Im not sure if this was the actual cigar or the fact that I became ingrossed in conversation at this point. ![]() The finish was smooth with a very slight acidity to it. Although I did not take any more pictures, I did smoke this to the nub. I would give this cigar an eight out of ten. In fact I plan on purchasing box to stow away for awhile to see what things may come. In any event, I hope this review was at all helpful or interesting. Well honestly, I would settle for "not a waste of time''. Thanks for reading.

Re: San Cristobal Guajiro
Good review, and great smoking buddies - I smoked my first Guajiro sized SC yesterday as well - I also experienced a substantial loss of the typical San Cristobal nuances you mentioned - it remained a good tasting stick until I let it die a dignified death with about 3/5ths of an inch left, but it just lost some pizzaz for me about two thirds of it's length through. I may have been cooking it too fast in the midst of doing other things - was puffing it at work.

Re: San Cristobal Guajiro
Kudos and the review, nice pictures and some pretty good details. I have only smoked one and I am letting the rest sit for a bit.
