La Aurora - Preferidos Review

I've tried one, and it was a nice smoke, but not nearly worth the price, IMHO....

Nice cigar, and some come with pretty tubes! Tasty but way overpriced imho.

My local tobacco shop carries these in boxes without the fancy tubes. Run about $14.00 a stick this way instead of $20.00 for the tubed version. I have to say that the La Aurora perfecto cigars are hands down the best that I have ever smoked. In flavor, they excite me more than any Cuban that I have smoked so far. Considering that Cubans in my area run between $10.00 and $20.00 a stick, I really don't mind paying $14.00 for a beautifully made cigar that I actually enjoy right out of the box. I am anxiously awaiting my first Saturday off in weeks so that I can head down to S. G. Roi and pick up a couple. I will do a proper review when I get a chance.

BTW - My oldest son herfed down my last supply while I was trying to find a Cohiba that I actually liked. This time, I get the La Auroras and HE gets the Cohibas.

I would love to hear a proper review before paying the big bucks for these smokes. I have been eyeing them up for weeks though. The packaging is very impressive but not the sole reason to buy them.
