Padron Delicias Naturale Review

I decided to do another 3 cigar review. This time I decided to give the Padron Delicias Naturale a try. These cost me about 4 dollars at my B&M but I noticed that they are running about 2.50-3.00 online. I will use the same criteria that I did for my review of the Oliva Series G cigar.

1. Appearance: 9.0

I took a good look at these cigars and found them to but solid. For a small cigar, 4.9 X 46, these are very well built. They felt firm throughout and had no hint of hardness, or softness, for that matter. The wrapper was a beautiful shade of brown and had a faint chocolately scent to it. Only quibble one of the wrappers had a minor defect in it.

2. Burn: 9.5

These were about some of the best burning cigars I have ever smoked. Nice, clean even burn all the way throughout. I took these babies down to my fingers and never felt any heat from them.

3. Flavor: 7.5

Unfortunately, flavor is where these cigars come up a little short. The first one left an ashy taste in my mouth. The second, towards the end, left a feeling on my tongue like I had just swallowed a soap bubble. Definitely not a good sign. The third cigar, however, was very pleasant. I may have to try a few more to see if the flavor becomes more consistent. Don't worry my viewing audience, I will take the hit for you.

4. Strength: 8.5

These are not very strong cigars, but I feel about right for the brand description.

5. Value: 8.5

With the flavor issues that I have found vs. price of the cigar I rate it as an average value from my B&M. If I bought it online, I would say that this is a good deal.

Overall: 8.4

These cigars I would probably want to give someone who is new to cigars. Would I buy them to stock my humidor? I would, but not as a go to cigar.

Nice review! I wouldn't give up on the regular Padron's as a go to quite yet, the 1000's series and londres are top notch in terms of quality and value. Great for any rotation.

Re: Padron Delicias Naturale

Nice review. I personally find the maduros much stronger and better tasting in the regular Padron line, as well as the 64s and 26s.
