Gran Habano Pyramid #5 Review

Beautiful Dark brown corojo wrapper that's heavy in the hand and oiley, with vains. A rustic looking cigar, I call it. Starts of smooth and creamy, with hints of buttery nut flavor. Ash held long and strong to about 1 1/2, whitish gray. Only knocked it off because burn became Irregular and needed a purg. After the half way mark the strength began to build. The taste was still Smooth and buttery but with a stronger kick. The burn wasn't perfect beyond this point, But not out of hand. Got a little bitter at the nub, but was a pretty good cigar IMHO. This box of cigars was rolled may 4 2007 and has been resting in the humidor just shy of 60 days. They are getting better with age. I won't be rushing out to restock, but I am pleased they are resting for the future.

Re: Gran Habano Pyramid #5

I love the #5 blend - Grand Robusto is my favorite but Pyramid would have to be second.

Re: Gran Habano Pyramid #5

Smoke the Gran Habano #5 blend routinely. Never had one I didn't enjoy but then I've had mine aging for a while. The only "burn" problem I had was with the first one I tried right out of the B&M.
