CAO Karmasutrasplash Flavours Tubos Review

Okay, first off, I'm not gay. I did buy curtains once, but that's it.
I saw these things on cbid and they said they tasted like chocolate mint and mango.
My first thought was "wtf is a mango?", but I like chocolate chip mint ice cream and I never had a flavored cigar in my life, and they were only 28 bucks for a whole box, and I was already paying the shipping, so I figured what the hell.

When I opened the box, they were all in little orange tubos and they looked extremely feminine. No one was around so I wasn't real worried.
I smelled one and it smelled awesome.
Then I looked around to make sure no one came around yet and I tasted one. It was actually good.

I was so impressed that I became bold enough to show them to the girlfriend and her little brother. They thought they were cool.
So now I'm pretty stoked. They didn't think I was any less manly. Firing one of these things up just went from "not a chance" to a go.
I grabbed my lighter and headed out on the back porch to my five dollar broken garage sale rocking chair.

The first taste made me look confused. So much was going on that I didn't believe it was coming out of this tiny little scrawny cigar wannabe.
I could taste the sweet immediately. The sweet smoke was different than the sweet from the slobbery almost-a-cigar. It tasted like those awesome gummi peach rings with the sugar on them.
I wondered where the chocolate chip mint was.
When I exhaled out my nose I found it. It landed right behind my eyeballs.
I was all like "dood, this is COOOL."
Then I caught the smoke off the end of the cigar. It smelled wonderful, was soft, didn't burn my nose, and had a totally different smell than everything else that was going on.
This little girl cigar was for real. It was like a carnival for my head.

This thing may not be a cigar, and it may be borderline alternative lifestyle, but I gotta tell ya, it was fun.
Fun enough that I'm going to smoke another one on down the road and I'm going to make sure I take a handful to pass around. It'll be an instant party. They're that much fun.

Just this one smoke was definately worth the 28 bucks. It was a totally pleasant and very unique experience.

I was never a big fan of the Karms, but I have been known to smoke CAO moontrances from time to time. Flavored cigars are not for everyone, but CAO does a better job than 99% of the flavored manufactures, IMO.

I laughed till I cried while reading this review. I think a RG bump is in order for the simple fact that not only did you smoke this thing but you actually liked it and admitted to it. Not a flavored cigar person myself but I can't knock someone for what they enjoy. One of the quirks of this hobby/obsession is that there is something for everyone so smoke what you like and like what you smoke. Thanks again for the hilarious review. You made my day when I read this.

Thanks madurolover.
I love a maduro myself. I bet 75% of what I buy have maduro wrappers.
I think it's because I like the "sweet" that comes from them. Plus the wrapper tastes good. Makes for good chewing.

I picked up a tin of the Moontrance a couple weeks ago.
I liked them. I haven't had another since, but I'll take them with me whenever I pass around the splashes.
I'm sure they'll be a hit.

Cool Bean

The way I see it, some cigar smokers love aromatic pipe tobacco too, nothing wrong with smoking what you like. Flavored or not. Try the Heavenly brand cigars.

It sure is nice to have so many different things to try. I don't want to become a cnob and miss out on anything. I never imagined I'd like something like this, but there it is.
I'm happy about it.

That was too funny.

I'm new to cigars so flavoureds are ok with me.

Excellent review.

Very funny review; I can relate since I'm not nearly macho enough to feel totally comfortable smoking one of these in public. Though I guess they're not too terribly effeminate-looking, as long as you don't carry the box around with you:

Yeah you see what I have to deal with here? I send him a 30 year HT and he said it tastes like burning newspaper and pepper but he likes these things.

Sheesh!

If you think this is funny, I wonder if we can get Auls to start smoking...
