Noob Adoption Review

Sorry no pics, my camera was acting up, pics for the next review.

Yeasterday here in Cleveland we got some nice 50 degree weather so i decided to start into one of these puppies.

For starters, The package that I got included a Nat Sherman Torpedo, 5 Vegas Miami Churchill, J.R. Suprema, La Flor de Cuba Robusto, and another churchill that wasnt labeled so ill get back on what it was.

Anyways, my first review: The J.R. Suprema

Construction- Solid, Very tight roll, slightly veiney, maduro wraper.

Pre-Lit Draw-Light, buttery, tight draw.

1st 1/3-When I lit this up, I was hit right away w/ an earthy flavor but after that initial burst, it mellowed out and I started to get strong but pleasant floral tones.

2nd 1/3-Floral tones kept up about 1/2 half way through and then they dissappeared. Strong Buttery taste appears. Tight ash, about 1.5"

3rd 1/3-Still buttery, earthy flavor appearing in the background. The cigar got very hot with about 2 1/4 inches left, very harsh smoke.

Overall:The flavors in this cigar I loved, the butteryness was nice, and the light flowery tones were great. But, the smoke during the last 2 inches or so was SO harsh that it took away alot, and i'm sure that that could be isolated to this one cigar but nonetheless, it took away from the experience. I'd give this cigar a 6/10, it was a solid six, but not quite a 7, if this would have drifted off into a nice ending i'd give it a 7, 7.5 easy but because of the finish, i'd give it a 6.
