Tatuaje Question
I'm going to Pittsburgh this weekend and I'm going to stop at a B&M on the way. Last time I was there I saw a big pile of Tatuaje's sitting buried on the floor under the gigantic RyJ display.
I paid $6.75 for a Havana Hermososbut the guy pulled the price out of the air. This is the question... Are there Tatuaje's that I absolutely MUST pick up, and at what price point per single/box should I buy every Tatuaje he's got? What is the hardest to find? I want to make note so I can know what I'm buying even though I don't know what I'm buying, ya know?

Re: Tatuaje Question
I really, really, really, really like the Reserva SW. It was my first Tat, and still the best one I've had. I like it even more than the Reserva J21.
It's a churchill though. dunno if you like big smokes. But they are fantastic! As for hard-to-find. I don't think I've seen any places that sell singles of the RC series. Look to see if you can get your hands on a couple RC184 or RC233. |

Re: Tatuaje Question
That's not the price of a lifetime for the red label cigars, but it's certainly competitive.
Your desire for spice should dictate which of the Tatuajes are a MUST HAVE, but my are that you should try ANYTHING with a brown label. That includes the half-foiled RC's.The general rule of thumb is Brown = Full and Red = Medium/full Here's a picture that I relentlessly stole from moki's website at vitolas.net, which used to be on Pete's website at www.tatuajecigars.com ![]() My personal favorite Tatuaje is the Cojonu 2003. I didnt' much care for the Cojonu 2006, and they're slightly more expensive than the '03. I was really pleased with the J21 I smoked a few weeks ago. It was aged for well over six months, and was strong but smooth! Hopefully, some other BOTLs will weigh in!

Re: Tatuaje Question
I'd love to see charts like this for more brands! It's awesome.
I'd like to try the Especiales now. Looks super mild. |
