My pleasure. Just don't expect them to ship until next week after Rita passes. This store keeps their cigars in pristine condition with a respectable walk-in humidor.

No, not Fumas, the Delicias is a long filler and 4 7/8" x 46; the Fumas are 6 1/2" x 44 and mixed filler.

Last time I checked Phil had a much better price on the Delicias than the SeriousCigars site; but you won't find the Fumas for much better than that outside of Miami.

Although I don't have anything against short/mixed filler cigars I don't smoke them in the car.. the long filler is "safer" for this.

Great cigar and since my smoking time gets more and more limited I now choose these instead of the 2000s that were a standard before.

I just got off the phone with Phil.

Great prices, you have to call or e-mail to get a quote.

Phil sounds like a good guy, I placed an order and I'll keep you informed.

Thanks for the information Matt. I hear you guys talk about the Fumas so much, I figured that I would pick some up for coming home from work duty.

If their flavor profile is basically the same as the Delicias, then I'll just stick to the Delicias. Just trying to find something I wouldn't feel guilty turning into bug food, but not taste like a dog rocket.

Re: Padron Delicias Maduro

I heard a rumor that Padron was going to discontinue the Fuma line as they were "cannabilizing" the sales of their regular lines. Anyone know if this is true? I hadn't gotten around to the Fumas yet.

Thumbs up Re: Padron Delicias Maduro

Just thought I'd append my review onto Danimal's review...

Bought a bunch of Padron singles from seriouscigars.com , some Delicias, Londres, Fumas, and 2000. Gonna smoke 'em all and see which I'd prefer a box of.

So today I smoked the Delicias. Gotta say, I agree wholeheartedly that these are awesome smokes. And that's with me getting a "bad" one, they had to patch the wrapper in two places. The taste was fantastic all the way through. Not a lot of flavor changes, but the flavor did intensify (in a good way) all the way down. The taste is impossible for me to describe, it's nothing like the other cigars I've tasted.

This cigar has dethroned the Casa Torano as my new favorite.

I'm still known as Danimal after the Crash of CS? LOL. Anyhow, great to hear you bought that variety... I'm in love with the Padron line now. Funny to read you got them on Seriouscigars.com b/c I'm going to swing by there tomorrow (physically) and pick up some sticks, maybe even a box of those Delicious Delicias!

Re: Padron Delicias Maduro

Just a note -

Smoked one of the Londres yesterday. I bought these because they are decently cheaper than the Delicias, and have decently close size stats. At one store, the Londres (5.5"x42) are $51 for a box, with the Delicias (4 7/8"x46) at $67 a box. Unfortunately, the Londres are nowhere NEAR as good. That great flavor I found in the Delicias simply wasn't there. The Londres were just an "ok" stick. Pretty good for $2 a stick, but not worth the savings over the Delicias. In this case, the extra tobacco they squeeze in those 4/64" from the extra ring gauge makes all the difference.
