Just smoked a torpedo one on the way home from the office today. This is one darn good smoke and the guy who sells these even better. I have tried just about everyone that he makes and they are all great.

I smoked one of these last night (the torpedo). It had good flavors, no harshness at all, and lasted much longer than I excpted.

I'll add my noob opinion here:

NUTTY, NUTTY, NUTTY goodness!

Firstly, they're friggin' huge. The ones I got in a sampler pack are 6x60 I believe.

I'm a slow smoker and this one is easily a 2+ hour escape. I had to touch it up a few times, and I usually smoke smaller RGs so this takes some vigorous puffing if it's close to self-extinguishing - so just puff more often so it doesn't get the chance to.

Also, burn is slightly uneven, but that might just be me and my crappy torch lighting skills and my slow ass smoking.

Paired it up with some Kenyan fine grind coffee.
An enjoyable smoke, but I don't know if I'll invest in a box - it takes a long time to smoke. FYI I've rested the one I've tried for about a week. The rest I'll revisit in a month or two, and should expect more flavor.

Definitely worth a try.

Sorry about the 6x60. It is a bit much for some folks. The good news is, I am expecting this blend in smaller sizes this week. Like, Robusto and/or Lancero! CS will be some of the first to know (if not THE 1st) when they come in and pass my test!

I carry a SOG Pup, very nice blade, but not so good for nubbing.
