Carlos Torano Casa Torano Review

This should be one of the harder reviews simply because of the complexity I thought this cigar had. I was cooking some chicken on the grill and figured what the heck, and grabbed this one out of the humidor. Still going to have to bomb Ron when I get some semi decent quality stuff. The cigar wasn't overly firm, but not soft, moved around a little when pressure was applied. I enjoyed the coloring, was very light compared to some of the ones I've seen. I cut the tip with my knife and toasted it up, just from the smell of toasting I had a feeling this would be a good one. Rather light, with a complex flavor. Earthy, with a choclatey after taste that made itself prominent later on in the cigar, rather then aftertaste it was one of the many flavors. Ash was very white, and it was actually hard to knock off the cigar. I was surprised at how cool the smoke was, all the way through the cigar just until it started to burn my fingers. Even though the smoke was getting hot it made the flavors more pronounced.

Overall, definately another one on my top 5

I agree. For a mild cigar, it's packed full of flavor. I saw a box of the robustos on auction, and for the price, I couldn't pass it up. I figured if they weren't up to my liking, I'd pass them along to someone. They surprised me. Now, I'm keeping my eyes out for another box!

I find myself liking this cigar more and more. I was kind of trending towards the fuller bodied cigar, but this cigar reminded me of how enjoyable a milder cigar could be. I agree that even though mild, this cigar has a lot of flavor. I have had the robusto size, but I prefer the toro in this cigar.

For a milder cigar, this cigar is fantastic. I agree with the complexity. I really loved these. I got one of these from icehog in the NST. I need to get some more of these for when I feel like a milder cigar.

These are definately my favorite Torano cigar right now. I thought the signature was great until I had a few of these. Definately awsome, and would recommend them.

Very tastey mild smoke. I tend to smoke more powerful stuff, but this is one stick that made the rotation. Creamy comes to mind when I smoke it. If you're a fan of Cammies, you gotta try it.

Re: Carlos Torano Casa Torano

I prefer full bodied stronger cigars these days, but the casa is packed full of flavor, for a mild stick it sure is complex and enjoyable.

Re: Carlos Torano Casa Torano

I just had a Casa Torano Toro today and I was very impressed for it being a mild cigar. I tend to favor the mediums and fulls but, this is one mild stick that I will keep in my humi.

Good Review!
