Oliva "O" Ole Maduro Review

I still haven't mastered the Review yet, so I'll do it in as best as I can

Oliva "O" Ole Maduro (Robusto)

Appearance: Dark, oily and very nice.

Construction: Even burn. nice firm whitish ash.

Lit is up and BAM! an uppercut to the chin. I got up and waited for the standing 8 count. I felt a tingling feeling through my throat and nose. This is not a weak cigar. I needed some sugar big time. After a bit it stayed peppery, but mellowed a bit and was full of great flavour. It was Spicy(peppery) and some sweetness, kept changing to coffee and a little chocolate and creamy taste. I really liked this cigar a lot and would recommend it. Not for the weak at the beginning. I will have to get some more of these and smoke them when I eat a little more than I did today.

How are the other cigars in the "O" line?

Great review miki!

I've thought about these Oliva's for a while. I may have to pick up a 5'er and try them out.

Jeff, I just got done writing a review and came to see that we both smoked an Oliva!! How cool! I had been so hesitant about smoking it for so long and its very reassuring to see that such a close gorilla would be smoking a cigar from the same great family who's tobacco graced my cigar.

Great review man, thank you for sharing.. This was a cigar that I was curious about myself.

This is a powerhouse of a stick. I have a couple that have been in the cooler for about 6 months....dark, rich and oily. It's not a morning cigar for sure. I enjoy these after a big steak dinner or with an evening cup of black coffee. Very nice review. Thanks.

Re: Oliva "O" Ole Maduro

Good review! They lose some power but gain some woodsy-type flavors if you age them...if they stay in the humi that long. hard not to smoke them straight out!

That's so cool Dan. What are the odds of both of us having an Oliva Day.

I find they have a dark chocolate taste with lingering citrus. I really enjoy these smokes. Try the Oasis (torpedo) if you get the chance...it won't dissapoint either. In fact, I'm gonna put one in the PIF. Snag it if you get the chance.
