Bolivar Fuerte Maduro Review
This is the first time I've tried this so hang on.
I ordered the Bolivar Fuerte maduro library edition (6.25 x45) a couple of weeks ago, fired one up and immediately ordered another box. Now I can't taste all the flavors you guys can with the limited time I've been smoking cigars and maybe never will, but I know what I like and I like these alot.
The cigar looks great with a dark wrapper, no soft spots, no veins to speak of and consistent in appearance. A very good looking cigar.
I've tried to get some idea of cigars from the prelight draw but they all taste the same to me so I don't try anymore. Toasted the foot, put the table torch into service and got ready for a suprise since I didn't know anything about this cigar. Man, what a suprise it was. The flavor starts strong with the first puff. A sweet, spicy, slightly earthy smack in the mouth. And it doesn't stop there. Some cigars start off good and wane as the smoke gets shorter or the other way around. The flavors on this cigar just go on and on. It actually gets stonger about halfway through and continues all the way to the nub. This is one of those that I hate to finish and is now one of my go to's.
The ash was grayish white and smooth. The burn was perfect and required no touchups or relights.
The only drawback that I could find was a slightly tight draw but nothing that would even be a concern.
You might want to smoke one of these after a meal because they have a pretty good kick to them (or did to me).
I knew I shouldn't have done this. I decided to smoke one while I was writing this and had to stop in the middle and order another box.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.
Criticisms welcomed.
