La Gloria Cubana Wavell Maduro Review

This nc brand keeps on impressing me. I had purchased a five pack of these a while about 9 months ago and they just sat in my humi being over looked until yesterday, the oily maduro wrapper caught my attention, and I decided to give it a try. This stogie was easily lit and it burned really sharp considering the maduro wrapper, which ussualy tends to burn a little off cause of all the oils. The flavor was tremendous, expresso and roasted nuts came to mind, but at the same time it was not overpowering, rather smooth with a little pepper in the finish to let you know you were smoking a LGC with character. The draw was excellent and it took little effort to get a big cloud of smoke. A great cigar, highly recomended. Too bad I only have one left.

Great review Nely! I really enjoy the Wavell naturals, so I guess the next logical step would be to find some maduro's and give 'em a try!

Thanks for the reminder Nely. I used to smoke the Wavell Maduro quite frequently, but moved on to try other things. I think it is time to reconnect with this old friend.
