Re: DPG Blue Label

Very good review on one of my favorite cigars.

This is one cigar that I try to keep in my humidor at all times. There is a flavor in them that I really like - I don't know how to describe it, but it is unique.

Re: DPG Blue Label

Nice review, good pics too.

In the Blue Label, I totally prefer the Generoso. The Toro is a much more complex smoke to me. Great aroma too.

I do prefer the Black Label. More toasty earth flavor, with a great deal of pepper. In these I really like the robustos.

I also really like the Cabaiguan Belicosos. Great cigar, a bit milder, more full bodied, med strength. Nice flavors with a great look and feel to it. They are a bit more expensive though.

For the price, the Blacks are really hard to beat. These are my #1 smokes right now.

Cool Re: DPG Blue Label

Great review. IMHO the Blue is a great cigar. But as it was said before make sure you try a CC. 1979 would be my suggestion. Thanks again for the great review.

Re: DPG Blue Label

I've never had the Blue but like the 5 Vegas Miami quite a bit. I've heard they have similar taste profiles. Is that at all true?
