It was good. $30 a stick good? HELL naw. But it was a very nice smoke, starts out kinda mild and creamy then builds into a full, unsweetened cocoa flavor without much complexity. I was impressed but not blown away.

Re: Had a Padron 80th

I'm still waiting for some good weather one of these weekends to smoke mine. I bought a couple to try out. I know they are probably not worth the expensive price tag, but I will only live once, right? And its only money...

This is pretty much what I expected to hear. Mine is still sittin in the humi waiting for a special time, but I doubt I'll be buying more. Not when the 64's and 26's are so great for 1/3 to 2/3 the price. Looking forward to seeing if it is worth it for myself though.

Re: Had a Padron 80th

I liked the one and only I've had so far. I have another that was given to me I'll probably smoke this weekend. I would say it was above and beyond a regular '26. I prefer the '64, but that could be a subconscious price issue too.
