Montecristo White #2 Review

I just had one of these on the golf course yesterday out of a five pack from CI. I read the so-so reviews before buying, but I have to say I like the mild flavor profile and the creamy feel to the smoke. It's the first mild cigar I liked and it turned me on to CAO blacks, 5vegas golds, etc. The draw has been perfect for me on the handful I've had so far.

Went past JR yesterday and toros were still $4/ea - grabbed a couple more and smoked one on the long drive home. Butter? Something there in the last third. I couldn't call it butter exactly, but it was a different something. Not bad.

Since writing the original review on this thread, I have had opportunity to try several other "Whites". Most did not impress me. However, every Montecristo Court tubo that I have had has been just plain excellent. I wonder if that particular "white" is a different blend.

Really don't know if it's a different blend but I seem to like Monte tubos better too. I'm not a big NC Monte fan nor do I buy a lot of tubos. But, I seem to prefer the tubos in both the White and Classic.
