Re: Taboo Twist Torpedo

I'm lovin' me some Robusto Twists.
The one thing that was remarkable to me was the creaminess. You always hear "creamy" or "buttery" when you hear reviews.
The twist doesn't deliver a cream taste or a buttery taste, but it leaves that wonderful sense down in the back of my mouth just like butter or cream or ice cream does.
It never ever gets dry.
The flavor isn't intense, it's just solid and delicious the whole way through.
The last inch and a half blows up for me, too. It's because I smoke it so fast it never gets a rest.

Re: Taboo Twist Torpedo

The twist I had left me with the creamy smoke taste. But I guess thats what makes stogie smoking great! Gotta agree with that!

I keep hearing great things about this cigar, I might give in this weekend and check out my local shop.

Re: Taboo Twist Torpedo

I recently ordered two variety samplers from Taboo and thread inspired me to give the a torp twist a try.

Raining like hell in south Florida I made for the patio with a good book, the gar and it's companion a strong cup of coffee smoothed with half and half and spiked with sugar.

Lit that baby up and my taste buds found a good home less than a 1/4 of an inch down. Leather and spice finished with rich oily cocoa in every puff. Even burn... burned like a champ. I puffed quite a bit on it and never got a hint of bitter till the end almost into nub territory.

I must admit to being a bit vain. The barber poles look goofy to me so I've been a bit reticent about them. What can I say, panatellas can be tasty but it's not something I'd smoke out in public O__o

Taboo twist was a very good cigar and it's going on my wish list. I'm glad I have a toro in the humi.

Re: Taboo Twist Torpedo

Just broke out my first Twist this afternoon and I have to agree with everyone. I really like the creamy texture (similar to the HSG). This is a top shelf smoke

Creamy, big smoke, awsome 1 and a half hour solid cigar. Medium flavoured stick. Get em if you can. Top shelf for sure.
