Partagas Black Classico by the fire Review

Saturday night the wife and I went over to a friend’s house for drinks, I figured I would bring one of my recent favs to smoke by the fire. As soon as we got the fire going I lit up!

What a beautiful deep colored gem this was! It had a wonderful prelight aroma with milk chocolate hints. The construction was okay, the end of the cigar looked kinda messed up but no holes or tears and it didn’t break during the smoke. I cut it with my Palio, perfect razor straight cut and good prelight draw.

Upon light I got a small blast of peppery smoke, but by the third draw it had simmered down to a wonderfully slightly sweet taste. I tasted molasses, dark chocolate, some cedar, and a light spice. A wonderful taste, exactly what I remembered.

Into the second and last third the taste grew stronger and I began to catch some roasted espresso tastes.

I must say this is one of my favorites. It was wonderful to smoke outside by the fire, and my non-smoking friends said they loved the sweet aroma the cigar gave out.

One of my long time favorites. I smoke a lot of the Bravo's, as well.

Reminds me, I'm running low on both. How come there's never a "deal" on these when you need one

Excellent smoke! As I say it is one of my favorites, I notice that this "list of favorites" is becoming increasing longer.

Such a dilemma I have walked into!

The Partagas black is perhaps my favorite cigar. If I could only smoke one cigar for the rest of my life, I would pick the partagas black. Excellent review of an excellent cigar.
