Oliva 'G' Belicoso Review

I am writing this as kind of an off-the-cuff review that I was not planning on. I am currently smoking the series 'G' and am quite impressed with it. I have smoked this several times in the past, but have never gotten the flavors which I am picking up now. Normally this is kind of a spicy, slightly creamy smoke without a lot of complexity.
I recently started nose-exhaling once and a while with cigars and I am now picking up, quite distinctly, the taste of a caramel latte.

I normally don't go too far with descriptions beyond leathery, spicy, or earthy, but I am struck by this case. The first inch I could not figure this out, but it seems to fit the flavor perfectly. Whether my pallet is becoming more developed I cannot say as I smoked a punch rothschild earlier today and didn't pick up on anything out of the ordinary.

2nd third, the caramel latte is still there on every nose exhale, now mixed with some significant spice as well. My nose is starting to become a little irritated as I am exhaling on every puff so that I can capture this flavor as much as possible. Burn and draw are still perfect.

3rd third, the flavor has changed little. There is now some bitterness to the finish as well. I set the nub down with about 3/4" left.

All in all, a great smoke, and for the price, wow.

I enjoy the Figurado-and yes, it is an incredible smoke based ont he price. The Figurado has $4.30 retail at our local B&M.

Love the Gs, both natural and maduro. Glad you enjoyed them. Not too expensive and very mych a pleasure.
