Quick stop to the local shop to buy some Griffo and my wife says, "Your not buying any cigars." So once I picked up my solution, I grabbed a couple of these out of the box and didn't realize that they were only $2.40 each! Didn't know any thing about them, but smoked one last night.

The foot was a little ragged, but otherwise it was a reasonably well constructed stick. Smelled mild to medium in the store, but the pre-light draw told me it was going to be stronger than I had thought, but I was then eager to light it becuase I love a full-bodied smoke. So I put some fire to it.

Man was that thing strong and harsh! I had no idea it would be as strong as it was. I hoped the harshness would go away, but it didn't. I did not enjoy it at all and only smoked it a little over half way. In fact my throat is still sore from it... or maybe my throat is sore and that is why it was so harsh. I don't know, but I do know that I will smoke something I am familiar with tonight.

The burn was pretty close to even, though. The wife said it was the worst smelling cigar I have smoked in a long time, for whatever that is worth.

... "I'm sorry, honey, did you say something right before I went in the store. "

I'm with on this. I didn't care for the natural. Now on the other hand, I think the maduro's are pretty darn good. One of these days I'm going to just pickup a bundle.

The maduros are nice for the price.I really like the torpedo.
