Camacho Corojo Toro Review

I was looking in my Humidor for an after dinner smoke and finally decided upon the Camacho Corojo Toro. This cigar is a 6 x 50 dark colored stick with a toothy wrapper.

I considered the construction as fair due to the poorly glued cap, which when clipped, part of it came off causing a wrapper issue at the head of the cigar.

Pre-light draw and burn draw was loose but did not detract away from the smoke.

Burn was good and the only issue was in the first inch where some unevenness was noticed. It self-corrected after about 10 minutes.

Flavor was very good. The cigar had a strong coffee note for the first half and the second half brought on the addition of spice. The cigar did not have any bitter aftertaste until the last 1.5 inches. This is not a finger burner, but is a good pleasant smoke.

Construction: 6/10

Burn: 7.5/10

Draw: 7/10

Flavor: 8/10

Aftertaste: 8/10

Overall rating: 7.3/10 - A Good Smoke

Nice review Dave, just curious, was it the maduro? I've had a bunch of the Manarca maduros and really like them, I have one natural in the humidor and haven't smoked any of them to this point.

No sir, it was a nattie. I was kind of surprised at the taste and flavor for being a natural. I got a 5 pack and they have been in the humi since September. I imagine the maduros are even nice if this one was any indication.
