I have not been on CS for 6 months but I don't think that is a problem. I have been smoking Cigars for 6 years and 3 years seriously. I am typically not a huge fan of most NC's but this would give me a great opportunity to try a few more. (I have tried many)

no problem, you are more than welcome to join - key is more being open to mild through strong cigars, and being willing to stay with the the tasting through the length of it

Well guys, it looks like there isn’t enough interest to get this going on the full scale that I had hoped – so a slightly different proposition for those that were brave enough to volunteer.

I would now propose a smaller tasting, one that I can fill out of my humidor:
We will follow the same format of reviews, smoking 1 cigar a week, reviewing the cigar in its own thread, with the reveal of what the cigar was at the end of the week.

Differences – we will do a 5 cigar tasting, and I am not going to ask for any money upfront. If you have a good time and like a couple of the cigars, send me something at the end of the tasting. DON’T try to match what I send, not stick for stick, not MSRP to MSRP – if you are not in a position to send something back right away, consider it a PIF. If you don’t find something that you like in the 5 sticks, consider this a PIF. I did mean it when I said that I was not doing this to benefit myself.

If you are up for this smaller tasting, and you had previously indicated that you wanted to be part of the experiment, send me a PM with your addy by 5/26.

Time frame should be:
You PM me your addy by 5/26
(I am out of town over the long weekend)
I will get the sticks in the air by 5/31
I will post the first review thread on 6/8 – look for “SSSS #1”
We should be done by 7/12

Andrew – I can carry yours out and give it to you at the herf if you are interested

I just saw your thread today and was wondering if I can get in? I would have done the other one, but I see that has ended. Is there still room for a teen Gorilla?
