Monte Cristo White Review

Ok, so I'm not a 100% sure if this is a high-end cigar or not (cost me roughly 12 dollars), but it was very very good, and I deeply enjoyed it.

But first, let me set the scene. I took this Cigar up the mountain (approx 8000 feet elevation) to a cabin I rented for the weekend for me and my GF.

I waited till the afternoon/evening of the last night we were there. It was approx 5:30 when I started this golden wrapped beauty. I decided I wanted to enjoy this with an ice cold corona.

So, I went outside to enjoy the view, relax in the breeze, and enjoy this cigar and beer. Let me tell you, I would totally recommend this cigar to anyone, be them a newb (like me) or a vet. It totally captured my taste buds with a mellow earthy flavor on the draw, followed by a crisp coffee flavor, and a slightly strong peppery taste on the way out of my lips. It was very well wrapped, with no blemished whatsoever.

Now, my only complaint with this cigar is that it didn't burn evenly. It seemed like it would burn a little slow on one side once the ash started to get a little long.

About a quarter of the way through, all the flavors seemed to kick it up a notch. It got a little more nutty on the draw, and the coffee flavor seemed a little more deep as well. The spice at the end actually seemed to mellow a lot, which surprised me because I thought it would get stronger the longer it burned.

Another funny thing, is that as I enjoyed this fine stogie, and enjoyed the fine views

I noticed a bunch of little birdies were enjoying the cigar a long with me!

Now when i got down a little further, my new favorite got a little to much for me. I hate to admit it, but I couldn't hang much more.

Its not that it tasted bad, or that it wasn't drawing well, it was just to to strong for me newbie taste buds to handle.

So as I said my good bye to this fine cigar, I looked out over the balcony at all the trees, and shivered a little in the breeze. I took one last look at this class act that i was holding in my hands and said "we'll meet again."

Size: 6 x 54
Wrapper: Connecticut Shade Ecuadorian

Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Dominican and Nicaraguan

Strength: Medium - Strong (full body)
Draw: Excellent
Flavor: Excellent

Score: 95/100

I would recommend this to anyone, and I just wish my buds were a little more mature to enjoy this smoke fully.

Good review,,glad you liked it,,the uneven burn could have been caused by the breeze.. I have tried them and was not impressed,,if you like that type of smoke go for a RP connecticut,, or a casa Torano both had more flavor than the MC White..

Re: Monte Cristo White

Very nice review and pictures. Not a bad stick, personally don't enjoy them but if you like 'em smoke 'em up.

I don't know I would classify it as Medium-Strong.

Re: Monte Cristo White

Nice review and photos. This is a pretty mild stick on my scale. Glad you enjoyed this Monte.

If you are ever in Phx drop me a PM and maybe we can meet somewhere.

Re: Monte Cristo White

one of the sticks that got me started. I went from acids to a monte white that was gifted to me. They're GREAT. wait a while for your tastes to evolve and that harshness will seem like nothing to you.

GREAT review & i'm glad you enjoyed it. Looks like you and the lady friend had a great spot to enjoy
