Flor Fina 858 Candela Review

I know I know This thread is no good without Photos. Well good news I have them just need to get them uploaded. So I am taken pictures with my 8525 Phone seeing it is the only camera I have right now so it might not be good. I am uploading them via email as I write.

Flor Fina 858 Candela bought a box for a Early AM Somke&Coffee.

Opened box and Nice grassy smell rushed out at me. Took it out cut it. Pre draw is way way nice. Easy draw. Toasted the foot and got it nicely lit. Took a couple puffs for a first flavor test, (Not sure a little Earthy/grassy like the prelit smell.) first 1/3 flavor was great nice draw and lots of smoke. The next 2/3rds was about the same with alittle less flavor as I got to the end. This is a great AM or any time smoke if you are looking for something that is smooth and earthy. Finnish as with most Cigars this one doesn't have a got to go rest finnish.

Great review, brotha! Unfortunately, it's very difficult to make a good candela with the right blend. I've been a fan of them since when I started smoking (they're much more mild than a lot of smokes out there), but I've noticed how the slightest issue with the blend really shows up in these smokes. Luckily, Fuente knows a little bit about making a good blend. I'll have to pick up a few of these to remind myself that candelas are worth the try every now and again!

I know I don't speak for everyone in my reviews. However i would recommend this to anyone NEW to Cigars. However I just hope they don't find one of the bad ones. First set of Pics here.

But as a general rule you're not the biggest fan of Fuente's or Candelas. So I'm not really surprised.

I had one on St. Pat's, it was definitely a unique smoke. I didn't hate it, I also have another in the humidor right now, I may give it another try and see if I feel the same way. Nice review and pictures.

I didn't know there was a FF Candela. Thanks for the review. Only Candela I had was a Camacho and I was very pleased. It was a very tasty smoke

This was the first Candela I had and it was a great "hot weather" smoke

These are a nice change of pace morning smoke. I probably have one every couple of months.

I reviewed these almost 1.5 years ago - at the time, I had about 5 in the humi and have since smoked them all. I suppose my tastes have gravitated to stronger smokes of late, so I havent had any urge to go and buy more.

Ironically, all of the ones I had smoked were after lunch when there wasnt a smoking ban in the area. I recall them being pretty good for a daytime smoke! Glad to hear you liked them
