Oliva O Maduro Ole Review
Size: 4 3/4 x 50
Shape: Robusto
Wrapper: Maduro
Aesthetics: Very Attractive cigar with a coarse yet shiny wrapper with little or no veins
Construction: Well rolled cigar with no softs softs, good clean draw that was barely on the hard side not too much to complain. Burned for the most part evenly, only required one touch which was prolly on my part being I was at work. Nice light gray ash.
Flavor and Strength: The cigar is Puros blended with habano tobacco grown in Nicaragua that is a full bodied smoke. For still a young palate still needing to be developed I did taste hints of dark cocoa at the begining with the end coming to close and the taste lingering in my mouth quickly leads to a caramel taste that is sweet on the tongue and leaves you begging for another one.
General Comments: The cigar was a strong one and my first strong cigar that I didn't associate a lot spice to. Truly a good cigar. I have heard from the person that gifted this to me that its a good cigar to buy and let sit as his first from the seven that he purchased was a little muddy in taste.
Would try again?
I would buy a box if I could. Really enjoyed this to the finger-burning end. A box FYI is about 100 bucks for them.
