Litto Gomez Diez Chisel Puro Review

I have been out of commission for a while because I am working on a book, but here is a nice little stick to peruse.

Thu stick is a little, rare spice bomb.

It is a nice oily stick.

As you can see, I chose to use a double bullet cut to smoke the cigar.

Nice foot.

The first third of the cigar was an explosion of spice...Super spice...spicy spice. This cigar was good...If you like spice.

The second third of the cigar did not change much, but who needs change with at the peppery spice of this stick. When its not broken, don't change it.

The final third of the cigar maintained the same explosion of spice. This stick was super spicy to the end. It was a really good stick.

The construction of the cigar was great as well.

I would rate this cigar a 9 out of 10. I really loved the spicy taste. I would relate this cigar to Clifford Brown's "I'll Remember April." They both get in your face and stay strong till the end.

Nice review thanks for the pics. Love... love... love these sticks. Never found them terribly spicy though. Strange...

Re: Litto Gomez Diez Chisel Puro

The one Diez I've had was the strongest cigar I've had. Good but very strong. My rating would have been a bit lower because I thought they over did it a little. YMMV.

Double bullet cut? What the heck is that? Looks like you cut a carbeurator in it.

Nice review and pictures! Interesting way to cut it, I might have to try that. I've had some of these resting for about six months now. Been wondering how they are...

nice review. i'm curious though - how was the draw using your punch? i cut my chisels with my trusty palio and have never experienced any draw problems.

Love the chisel, it's just a great cigar. Recently picked up a box of the Americano's and they also have that butt kicking spice. I just love the whole Litt Gomez Diez line. Have to be in my top five if not my fav!

Re: Litto Gomez Diez Chisel Puro

The double allows the smoke to come out of the top and the bottom of the wedge of the cigar. T he draw is great with a guillotine cut or this way. I like the way a double punch allows the smoke to hit your pallet in a different way. It's only a personal preference. Give it a try.

Very nice review. I was gifted one of these about a week ago and I have been letting it rest. I am looking forward to giving it a try. Sounds like it should be good.
