Chateau Real Review

I can't say enough good things about this line. Alot of people automatically disregard anything made by Jonathan Drew, which is understandable, since ACID cigars are...different. But anyone who likes a mild cigar with tons of flavor needs to try a Chateau Real.

The size I am smoking right now is a Cristales Deluxe, a robusto packed in glass tubes and sold in boxes of 8.

AMAZING flavor for a mild cigar. It has many of the flavor characteristics of a typical mild Connecticut wrap cigar, but also a bunch of little "nuances" that make it an absolute treat for the senses. Some toasted tobacco flavors, a touch of floral flavor that comes and goes, and of course the creamy/buttery flavor that is typical of a mild CT wrap cigar.

I LOVE these things, man. Definitely a cigar that I will return to again and again.

A great mild morning cigar. Drew Estate releases some very fine cigars other than the infused stuff.

+1. The chateau real is a great cigar. Not to mention the Liga #9s.

Re: Chateau Real

I bought the 8 pack of crystals. Just took down the first one this evening. I am seldome blown away but this could just have become my favorite cigar. If you have not had one, try one. The smoothness and creaminess of this stick is fantastic. Not much spice, but excellent almost caramel taste, really unique. Try one!

Agree 100%!! Creamy & smooth with a bit of a mild buttery taste & a touch of spice. Flawless construction, perfect burn. A great change of pace cigar that also has a great price. Offered up on Cbid at times at great prices. Recently picked up a box (25) of the Nobal Habana's for $61.00.

Re: Chateau Real

Spot on review. I think the CR is one of the better Connies out there. I need to try that Maduro, though. born, you've got my curiosity up about that one. Please let us know how it is.
