Ashton VSG robusto Review

I've kind of been going overhaul on the reviews as of late, but lately i've been having lots of good cigars, and lots of good cigars means lots of reviews by yours truely.

Had a ton of food today- decided the VSG robusto would be a good thanksgiving meal finisher. I was right.

Mmm boy this cigar was yummy.
Very nice looking cigar too i may add.

Lit her up and i could tell it was a powerhouse from the begining.
I enjoy strong cigars, just so long as they are not harsh, and while this one had its moments, for the most part it was not harsh.

No need to go into extreme detail as this cigar was not overly complex, but the flavor was spot on.

Spicy strong smoke, with a nice sun dried vegetable taste which i've come to associate with most sun grown wrappers.
Lots and lots of full flavored strong smoke.
While it didn't exactly taste like this (it did in ways but this is just a comparison), it reminded me of a pasta dish with a rich strong tomato sauce with basil and other herbs. Nice little aftertaste with this smoke as well.

Good thing i've had lots to eat today, buzzing pretty good right now.
This one gets a thumbs up from me.

Aston VSGs. You definately picked a good on there.

The robusto size is great. Glad you had a good Turkey day and topped it off with a good cigar.

Re: Ashton VSG robusto

Just had my first VSG today while out cruising properties with a friend... I liked the taste but about 1/2 way thru this sucker got hard to draw on.... wonder if it was just a fluke or are they all rolled like this?

Nice even burn, and the taste was medium-bold... easy to keep lit even with a slow smoking pace. It was the Belicoso size.

Nope...mine was the same way, but it did get better as it went along.

Spot-on review too. The dark, oily wrapper was so fresh I wanted to eat it! The first puff made we think "Wow, now I understand the hype." Flavor was stupendous. VSG is one of my favorite lines. All this talk makes me want one!
