CAO Criollo Review

Thanks to Cigar Dave's Officer's Club, I tried a CAO Criollo. It had a delicious mild-to-medium flavor, and was a very good smoke. Once finished, I had a funny aftertaste left in my mouth. I'm wondering if it was the cigar, or maybe the combination of the cigar and something else. Has anyone else had this experience with the CAO Criollo?

I've had the same experience. Overall not bad for a milder cigar, but the aftertaste put me off. Haven't tried them since.

I've smoke quite a few Criollos and loved them all. They are a great flavorful medium bodied cigar. Never left with an unpleasant aftertaste.

Re: CAO Criollo

I have to say that I have never experienced an aftertaste either. I have smoked maybe 4 or 5 of the Criollos and all have been pretty good.

If I may ask, what were you eating or drinking when you smoked it? That may have had something to do with it.

Re: CAO Criollo

Hmm, I smoke CAO Criollos several times per month and have never had any noticeable aftertaste.
