CI Legends: Orange Label Serie 6779 Review
In accordance with TideFan73's terms from his newbie PIF and extreme generosity, here is my first review.
Tools: Xikar Xi1 Cutter Nibo 44 Triple Flame Construction: Good looking wrapper, negligible veins, only one that could be picked out at a glance. Cap was near seamless, had to look close to see the line. Relatively soft cigar with some hard spots near the middle and the foot. Unfortunately, all precursors to burn problems down the road. Band is on tightly, there is a little movement in it, but not so much I can slide it off. Pre-light: Amazing draw, maybe a little loose possibly due to the soft spots mentioned. Negligible aroma from wrapper, nutty flavor on draw. First Third: More of the nuttiness on first puff. Loose draw easily pulls cool smoke. Nuttiness mixes with earthy flavors fluctuating with each puff, draw is still easy and cool. With 1/2 inch of ash on the stick holding firm; dark at the end, more white by the burn. There are a few dark spots where the burn became uneven and needed correction. Smoke is still very cool and incredibly mild picking up hints of chocolate as I exhale through the nose. Hard spot hit requiring a relight. Purging and relight temps settle down, more chocolate flavors are detected. Nervous about burn so I catch my self puffing too often. Second Third: Burn has evened it out and I'm puffing less, So far the cigar is holding the burn well resulting in a clean white ash. More chocolaty flavors now, burning abit hotter though which will set the tone for this second third. Had another relight mid way through and found myself tending the burn a lot. The soft spot on the top was more prevalent during this third, pulling air through quickly and burning that end much faster than the rest. Finish: Still quite mild, chocolate tones holding steady and will remain present for the remainder of the stick. Finding I have to keep the burn hot to keep the stick from going out. Chocolate flavors finish the stick before the burn goes out and I end the session. Summary: Smoke Again: Yes I rested this in my humi for about a week at 70/70. This may be a 60 or 65 RH stick for future smokes. 2:00 - Burn Time 3/10 - Construction 5/10 - Flavor 7/10 - Looks 10/10 - TideFan73's generosity for giving me the opportunity to try a new stick. Re: CI Legends: Orange Label Serie 6779
I had my first one of these a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it, but I loves me some Rocky anyway. I have a fiver and none of them have any of the construction issues that you mention. Maybe you just had one that slipped under the radar a bit on the QC side.

Re: CI Legends: Orange Label Serie 6779
I'm a big Rocky fan, myself, and really like the Orange labeled CI Legends. I found them to smoke well and didn't have any issues at all with any I've smoked. I try to keep at least a 5er of these in the humi at all times.
