Puros Indios Maxima Reserva Maduro (with pic)

Tonight's reading material.

Comics before the horrid age of political correctness. Hilarious and edgy, especially by today's paltry standards.

Now to the cigar!

Here is the breakdown:
Wrapper: Maduro
Size: Petite Corona

I clipped the end and toasted the foot. A smooth draw and then put the flame to it.

First thoughts were very earthy. Almost as if it would have gone into a dark chocolate but didn't. It stayed earthy and a little harsh but a medium flavor.

All in all decent but not one I'd add to my brimming humidor.

I had gotten a box of the corona's a while back for dirt cheap. Upon smoking them initially, I thought they were putrid. I put them away for many moons, forgot about them, then found them after some time. I fired one up, and it was surprisingly good. A few months later, I had another and it was even better. These age incredibly well and smooth out over time. Nasty right out of the box though!

Nice review. I find these to be an enjoyable stick particularly for the price. I haven't experienced the harshness you did. I also tend to get a little sweetness from them. Still they definitely are not for everyone.

I really like some of the puros. They get a bad rap though.

I agree I also enjoy Puros but not many seem to say good things about these cigars
