Onyx Reserve mini Belicoso Review

Well this is the first cigar that I found that I preferred since I've been experimenting with cigars. I prefer the Onxy reserve. I've had two boxes of the mini and regular belicoso resting in my humidor for about 18 months. Let me tell you first of all that letting them rest was well worth the wait. Today I lit one of the mini's up. Here is my review.

It took me about 45 minutes to smoke the mini. I don't rush things when it comes to cigars. I sat back with an ice cold Coors Light and enjoyed the smoke (well worth it after a busy and long hard weekend at work). It started off smooth and finished just as smooth. I got a hint of woody and earthness along with what I describe as hazlenut. I'm sure there were more, maybe the beer didn't help. The ash was an even burn all the way down to the nub. There was no harshness at all. It was well worth waiting and letting the gars rest.

I have smoked one when I got the boxes and it was good but his gar was one of the best that I've had so far. I highly recommend the Onxy Belicoso it regular or mini size if you like the maduro wrapper (which I prefer). Enjoy!

Re: Onyx Reserve mini Belicoso

Nice Review...The Onyx line was my very first maduro I had ever smoked...I remember really enjoying this cigar long ago...well not that long ago..maybe 5 years or so...Anyhow..I still enjoy the small tin Onyx cigars...I think they have the most consist and easy flavor for the end of day drive home....Again, Nice review...

Re: Onyx Reserve mini Belicoso

I've been singing the praises of Onyx since I started smoking cigars about three years ago. These too are the first maduros I ever smoked. Although I started with toros, and I still keep a few in my humidor, I keep a couple of bundles of the mini belicoso's because they are the perfect cigar if I don't have a hour and a half to kill smoking. Onyx is one of my all-time favorites!

Me too! My first box purchase was the mini bellicocos and I still enjoy them a lot. They've been very consistent and always pleasurable.
