C.A.O. Maduro Robusto Review

I love these cigars and usually smoke them up as soon as I buy them. However last spring a cigar store near my home was going out of business so I bought their entire supply of C.A.O. Maduro robustos, coronas and their cameroon toros (they only had 2 left). I restrained myself and let one of the robustos age 6-7 months. God is it good. I realize that this isn't much of a review but I need to share my joy with people who understand why I am so excited (the girlfriend just doesn't get it).

I know what you mean. I bought a box of Excal #1 and they
were good. They have been around for 18 months and they are
great.

Had some CAO eXtremes that were better at near a year IMO
than they were when first purchased.

That is probably especially true with the eXtremes. They are great cigars, but I have never found them to be 'extreme.' I have heard, however, that the early releases of the eXtreme series were much more flavorful and powerful. Possibly CAO did not let the eXtremes age as long with their follow ups as they did when it first appeared.

My first extreme I thought a good cigar but I could not find what was eXtreme about it. I was down to the band and I took one more herf on it and pow the extreme hit. It was right there at the end of the cigar. About two more draws and I was ready to put it down(my fingers were getting hot also).
