JML 1902 robusto Review

I grabbed a 5 pack of these cigars because I thought the blend sounded interesting. Dominican filler, Honduran binder, and Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. The wrapper is a dark brown.

These are made by Luis Sanchez at La Tradicion Cubana in Miami.

What a GREAT, unique, flavorful and aromatic cigar! I swear, the aroma coming from this thing smells like amaretto!!!! The flavor has a nice amaretto note too, sweet in the first part of the stick, then toward the end picking up some more typical Maduro flavors.

This is the second Luis Sanchez blend I've smoked in the past couple of days. I think I like this guy.

Had a Petite Torpedo a couple weeks ago and agree that these are great smokes. Reasonable prices too.

Re: JML 1902 robusto

I picked up a 5er of the robusto as well, and the first one was way too wet, and the flavor was harsh and unsmooth. However, I have a few more of these to try and will revisit them as they did show promise.

These are solid smokes that show great aging potential. The two corona sizes are in my regular rotation.

Re: JML 1902 robusto

I had one of these yesterday thanks to Mark. Gotta say, these are pretty darn good. They have a very unique flavor that reminds me of almond extract or almond something or other? Nice white ash and a nice even burn. When Mark told me the price on these I was shocked!
Thanks Mark!
