Don Kiki Brown Review

28-SMOKE (888-287-6653)

Don Kiki Limited Reserve Brown Label Churchill
SKU: DKBL LRCHURCHILL

Brown Label Limited Reserve Churchill Cigars by DON KIKI come in boxes of 25 cigars. After aging the tobacco for 3 years, these premium cigars are finally released for your smoking enjoyment.

DON KIKI Limited Reserve Brown Label are the most flavorful Don Kiki cigars to date. Medium to full body, these cigars are hand made in small batches and in limited quantities with sun grown and extremely aged Cuban-Seed Habano long leaf tobacco from the rich fields of Tabacalera Esteli. The Binder is a rich Corojo tobacco and the Wrapper is a super premium rich and rare sun-grown Cuban-Seed Criollo. This combination of all Cuban Seed tobacco from Tabacalera Esteli produces lots of delightful smoke and flavor. Cohiba was what the natives in Cuba called great smoking tobacco. Don Kiki carefully blended these premium cigars with the best Cohiba from Tabacalera Esteli to provide an exquisite taste and smoking experience. Each Churchill cigar is individually handcrafted to his strict high standards and under his direct supervision. The Churchill cigars are 7” long with a large ring gauge of 52. The hand-packed cedar box contains 25 exquisite premium cigars.

DON KIKI Limited Reserve Brown Label boutique premium cigar provides a powerhouse of flavors. Six years in the making, the tobacco leaves are skillfully cured by artisans and then aged for at least three years before they are individually chosen based on their fine qualities and hand crafted into cigars by skilled master cigar rollers. These fine premium cigars are then aged for an additional 3 years in Tabacalera Esteli’s temperature and humidity controlled aging room before being hand packed in Cedar boxes. They are fully backed by the exclusive Cuban Crafters Cigars Full Satisfaction Guarantee.

MEDIUM TO FULL BODIED CIGARS. Their superior taste is well balanced and complex with some floral licorice & spices. It has earthy undertones of toasted nuts. It finishes with a cocoa blast.

I haven't seen this cigar reviewed so far on CS. I received it from a tremendous trade with my CS buddy, MarkinCA. The cigar is a beautiful "Brown" stick, 7X52, that was resting in my humi @65RH for 1 month. Initial draw was somewhat tight, so I used my trusty Henry's Cigar tool twice to ease the draw. After this, the cigar drew perfectly, with tons of thick white clouds of smoke. The aroma and taste were definitely full-bodied, with notes of spice, nuts, and rich flavor. The nicotine buzz was very strong and almost knocked me out with its strength in spite of a good meal 10 minutes before! I'm glad I didn't light this baby up in the morning with my coffee! Burn was slightly uneven and persisted throughout the 50 minute smoke in spite of several touchups with my torch lighter. The flavor was so rich & tasty, however, that the smoke was very enjoyable! Overall rating 8.5/10 with points taken off for the somewhat uneven burn. Price is very reasonable from Cuban Crafters @ $58.33 for a box of 25! If you like full-bodied, rich smokes, you definitely need to try this smoke!
Enjoy!
Greg

Nice review.

King1of3 gave me one awhile back, and I was amazed. The brown is a wonderful cigar. I've already purchased my box and I should be receiving it shortly

Although I have not had the Churchill size, the torps and figurado's(Botella) are both very tasty smokes. I find them a bit more medium, but with some great flavors. These are definitely an "under the radar" smoke, lets keep it that way.

WooHoo!! I love contributing to someone heading even further down the slope. Come to think of it, I need to remember that when you push someone down the slope you need to let go, not follow through.
Jason, catch me!! I am falling fast. With your contributions the other night and my $300 this week, I'm gunna get all banged up when I hit. Think I should head over to Cuban Crafters.

These get better as they age imho.

Re: Don Kiki Brown Review

Yeah, I've been wanting to try these ever since I read some great reviews. I would love to split a box of these if anyone's up for it. Maybe the Botella or Robusto size :-)
