PAN and RPV 1990 Review

Well, I sat down with my stepmom's-younger sister's-fiance and had a smoke last night. I gave him the RPV1990 that I have been saving for awhile, and I smoked a PAN that was given to me by my secret santa. I'm horrible at reviews, and my palate isn't as refined as you guys, but those were two of the best cigars I have ever had in my life. Very smooth, I could blow both through my nose with barely a tickle, which is rare. There was some change in taste, but it was hard for me to tell where/when, as we kept swapping the sticks back and forth. I know it's a crap review, but I though t I'd throw it out there. Thanks to my secret santa for the PAN, and thanks to Bluenote for the RPV 1990!

Just leave it at swapping cigars and you'll be OK.

I can imagine you liked those smokes, as they're both very good. Keep the smoking stories coming.

Thanks for sharing. I like them both. The RP were my goto cigars for a long time. Padrons? Hey they are all pretty good.

I hear great things about the Padrons.. I really liked that PAN though, and have one more, and 2 PAMs waiting for special occasions. I'm thinking a box of PANs or maybe PAMs (pending a taste test), will be my first whole box purchase. Don't know how much a box may be though, so it might just be outta my league. We'll see.

Re: PAN and RPV 1990

The PAN Exclusivo I had some time back is still the best tasting cigar I've had yet. I've yet to try an RP vintage '90. I have a few sitting around from a sample that I'll probably be trying soon.

the RPV 90 will probably one of my first box purchases. I absolutely love them.

Still need to try a 92 though.

Re: PAN and RPV 1990

I like the RP Toro 90's the best out of the line. The 92's are also good, and will probably be even better with a couple years of age behind them. You may also want to try the RP Edge Cigar. Its a little stronger, but its not harsh. It boasts a fantasic burn and excellent construction IMHO.

Re: PAN and RPV 1990

Both the 90 and 92 are great cigars. The 92 has a little more oomph to it, ya know the feeling you get in your belly when there's only about a third left.

Re: PAN and RPV 1990

The 90's and 92's are dang good cigars. I like them a lot. I also do not mind the Edge at all either. It does have a bit of a kick, but not to bad.
