La Finca Robusto Review
I am on my fourth box of these. THey are 4.5" by 50 ring guage Nicaraguan Cigar. The beauty of these is that they can be had in the $30 to $40 range for a box of 25. So for a little over a dollar a stick, you can have a decent everyday kind of smoke that won't break the bank.
THe taste is medium bodied with kind of a nutty spicy flavor to them. I do not think they are too complex. THe aroma of the smoke is pleasing with the same spice aroma to it. I tend to get the natural wrapper, though it is also available in Maduro. THey taste slightly sweet in the mouth. They match up well with a cup of coffe. It is good for about 20 minutes. THey can sometimes have a bitter/Harsh finish. So if when you get near the end and you think it is getting bitter, I would not continue. THe construction is OK. The wrappers occasionally have the large vein on them. THey usually have a grey ash that is on the loose side. I occasionally have one with a tight draw but that has been pretty rare. Maybe 1 or so per box. THey do burn pretty evenly but a bad light can produce an uneven burn. They will not even out like some better cigars do. All in all, this cigar is nothing too special. I like the flavor and have not got sick of them over the past couple of years. I have enjoyed three of them in the past week. It is not a bad little cigar to have if you are stuck in traffic, taking the dog out for a walk, during a round of golf, or just feel like a quick smoke on your lunch hour. While they are not the best cigar out there, I do think it is one of the best bargains going. If you are on a budget and are looking for a good daily smoke, this is a good choice. I would give a few a try. For a little more than the cost of a mass market smoke, you can get a good quality hand made cigar. ![]()

Re: La Finca Robusto
Good review . I smoked a box of them a year or so ago, and I think that if you let them sit in a humidor for a few months it make them a much better smoke.
