Can't go wrong with these. Have you tried the toro size? I keep both in my humi and the toro is even better.

Re: DPG Cuban Classic

I love all the Cuban Classics but IMHO the Perla is the best of them by a mile.

As this cigar entered into the final third it starts to pick up some spice to finish off the sweet tobacco with some underlying wood and leather.

This won my best cigar of the weekend award. And I'm wishing I had more than just the 5 or 6 left in the humi. What a change after a few months. If every cigar only did that.

I'm with you. On Sat night I smoked one that had been in the humidor for about 6 mos. The flavors are all there, just better balanced than when fresh.

Re: DPG Cuban Classic

In terms of flavor, body, and strength, how do these compare to the blue label?

IMHO Better flavor, fuller body, about the same strength.

Yep, and I don't think these are as "in your face" as the Blue.

Re: DPG Cuban Classic

I smoked another one of these last night, and it was awesome. Wasn't as spicy as the 1st one I had about a month ago. I think I have 1 more left and I can't wait to light that baby up!

I just had one of these and it was FANTASTIC. The aroma was incredible. Great taste for a great price!

I agree these smooth out with age. My favorite DPG.
