La Unica Cameroon Series Churchill Review

I have always been a fan of the regular La Unica line, but this was amazing!

Cost of cigar: $7.25
Size: Churchill

Appearance: Silky dark brown wrapper, nice sheen and great feel
Burn: Perfect, even ring throughout the entire smoke. Never went out, just burnt gently and slowly, even when I left it for over 20 minutes.

I smoked this while sitting on my back porch reading a book and it just blew me away. The flavor of the cigar was very spicy, but creamy to the palate. The smoke it generated reminded me very much of the Hoyo de Monterry 1066. I lit the cigar with the expectation of similarities to the regular La Unica line, but was I in for a shock. I started concentrating more on the cigar then the book, which was exactly the opposite of what I had intended! This beats all the other Fuentes I have tried, barring the Opus X, but that's a different experience all together. You don't sit in a Lexus and expect it to drive like a Ferrari. I have heard so many stories about the La Unica Cameroon Series, but they were all put to bed by this cigar. I highly recommend you LLG's giving this one a go, just once, and you will be suprised. I know I was.

As a side note, I think Fuente really put as much effort into the artwork on the band as they did the Opus X line. The band is just gorgeous.

A very nice smoke. Try the Belicoso and Torpedo too; for my tastes, they have more flavor than the Churchill. Also, try the Indian Tabac Cameroon Legends. (I rate them slightly ahead of the LU.) Will be interested in your thoughts comparing the two lines.

Flipflop, what haven't you tried. You always seem to have tried every smoke ever reviewed on this site.

I'm jealous.:9

Agreed, the Belicoso is the tastier, in my opinion. The whole line is good, though...
