JDN celebracion robusto Review

If looks were all that mattered, this thing would kill.
I loved the way this cigar looked personally, and smelled even before i lit it up.
Man it smelled good before light up.

Lighting it up however, led me to mixed opinions.
Had the "earthy/leather" taste that i associate with many puros,
also had a peppery tone, and lastly the thing was just full of cinnamon.
If I were to point someone to a certain tone, and cinnamon came into the conversation this would be the first cigar that came to mind.

While i enjoyed the taste of this cigar, There was a certain harshness to it that i also tend to associate with many puros (sadly) that just kind of put a damper on the experience. I suppose if i could get past the harshness it would be a great cigar. Still a good cigar I thought though.

Slow burning, cool smoke... just a little too harsh for my liking.

thanks for looking.
blake.

Nice review.. the cinnamon scares me... I just tried to complete a bet involving cinnamon.. and for the record,it IS physically possible to swallow a teaspoonful of cinnamon without puking.... but it's freaking HARD to do...

Nice review Blake.

I have 4 of the Robusto's and 5 torp's setting in the humi. I like full bodied cigars but these do have a slight harshness to them. I'm hoping a little age will mellow them out. I will try one again in the spring and see what happens.
