CAO CX2 Review
Toro Size
I did a search and didn't see where anyone had done a review on this, but i could just be missing it. Prelight was great and the cigar looked to have a good construction and lit rather nicely. The burn was really nice and slow. It was a relaxing smoke that took about 1.5 hours to complete. It burned nice and even all throughout the smoke. Taste was really nice with lots earthy flavors throughout. It came across a little woody and nutty to me. Definately not the best cigar that i have ever smoked, but it was nice. I would give it a 8/10 at best. |

Re: CAO CX2
You are right, that is a tough one to search for.
I have a box of the toros in the bottom of the cooler sitting there since April of 2007. One of those deals where I remember buying them because I liked the few I had tried, but it has been a while and it is time to dig them out. My records show that I paid $130.25 for the box from a JR auction. The rich/earthy mocha really appealed to me with this medium body cigar. Good volume of smoke and nice draw. Here are a few reviews that I was able to locate. http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=153223 http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=14212 http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=43937 http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=29325

Re: CAO CX2
I don't really care for this stick. I bought one over the weekend from my neighborhood B&M and found it seriously lacking, with a harsh, non-distinct flavor and an awful residual smell afterward. CAO isn't my favorite brand to begin with, and this one is near the bottom of that particular barrel. I do think the Brazilia is decent, though.

Re: CAO CX2
The CX2 was a disappointment to me as well. I am a fan of the CAO brand, generally speaking. The MX2 is my favorite smoke, and I'm looking forward to trying the LX2.
