K. Hansotia Sherpa 2002 Review

I just had to smoke this thing today.. its a barber pole striped stogie, and I was totally dissapointed. It burned uneven, had no flavor, besides smoke, and burned hot the entire time. I will give this another shot if I can find one.. but it wasn't that great. I read a couple other reviews on this one before smoking it, and they all said just about the same.. Not impressed at all.

Thanks you saved me a buy. Hansotia usually puts together a great cigar.

I think your revew was pretty much dead on.

I pick up a 5 pack a few months ago and the taste was subdued and flat. I did not have burn or draw problems, but the taste was just lacking. This is one that should be passed over for a better smoke.

Interesting tho, it seemed to change flavor on & off. Almost like the light wrapper had a vanilla flavor (yuck) and the darker wrapper had a chocolatey flavor. Anyone else experience this?

Im not sure if it went through different flavors or not, but I wasn't concentrating on that.. I was just shocked at how bad it was.

I have some Sherpa's which I (and my herfing buddies) love to smoke. Like all cigars, beauty is in the palate of the beholder.
