Have not had the Hyde Park! I have had Macs with some good flavor and others that tasted like sawdust. There are not a go to stick for me.

Re: Macanudo Hyde Park Café

The one thing I have to thank(I think?) Macanudo for is the introduction to the hobby. I started smoking Cigars regularly at 16 years old and Macanudo was almost always the highest quality cigar I could get at the local conveinience store, at that time in my life I did not know of any Cigar stores or the many brands/options out there. Re: Macanudo Hyde Park Café

I just tried one of these last night. I had very low expectations but was pleasantly suprised. The wrapper is very unattractive, reminds me of dried parchment or old person skin. Draw was great however, and as you can tell, ash was tight and white. Tasted like cedar and grass until about half way through, then just a pure tabacco taste which I dig. Smoke was nice and also didn't have a lot of gimmick to it, just pure tabacco smell. Burn was good throughout. I will give this an 8.5 out of 10.
