Mayorga Toro Maduro (freshly rolled)

Wow, this is a fantastic cigar. Martin was nice enough to send me 10 fresh rolled cigars along with a sampler. Since your suppose to smoke them right away or let them sit, I tore right into one :-)
Construction was perfect, not the typical Mayorga boxpress, its just a normal looking toro, not square. No viens at all in the wrapper and the look was like silk. It had a little tooth to it. And amazingly enough withough any humi time, the wrapper was nice and oily.
Prelight aroma was of a barnyard, not the typical cigar smell for me. The prelight draw was perfect, not to loose, not to tight.
When i went to toast the foot of this stogie, it seemed to go right up, no need to light anymore, that was it. Just a few puffs and that was all that was required.
The first half inch was a bit rough, and a little bitter, but after that it seemed to mellow right out. In the next third, the smoke was thick and plentyful, the taste was of spice and earth, more earthy then i've expeirenced before. By the midpoint, the spice was a little more refined and the taste of chocolate came through nicely. Then the power came on, you can tell this is a Nic puro. The draw loosened a little. By the end, the spice was back nice and strong. The toasty end was amazing. The aftertaste was nice, short but nice and certainly not overpowering.
Over all i would recommend this cigar to anyone who can get them, they are worth every cent!! I just wonder how long the other nine will hold up?
